Gulgul in Parapara

By   Ashok Rajagopalan

Age Group: 6 - 9 Years

Description:

When Gulgul goes to stay with her cousin Dinny—a keen collector of bird feathers—the girls' adventure-loving Aunt Jinny has a wild idea: a trip to the faraway planet P4R4P4R4, or Parapara, to hunt for the rare, colour-changing feathers of the keypock bird. Parapara turns out to be a cluster of tiny planets and moons inhabited by birds of every imaginable shape and size. On Greenpara, the trio meet the bird Win King and her three chicks—Coo King, Thin King, and Blin King—who point them toward the keypocks. But before they can collect a single feather, the group is snatched away by giant parrots as big as horses! Can they escape, find their way home, and keep their precious feathers intact?

From Ashok Rajagopalan, creator of the much-loved Gajapati Kulapati books, comes a zany, feather-filled romp brimming with adventure, family, and laugh-out-loud fun. Ages 7+.
