Description:

After a break-in at their London home, twelve-year-old Kat Wolfe and her veterinarian mum swap city life for the picturesque village of Bluebell Bay on England's Jurassic Coast — a move that comes with one condition: adopting Tiny, a huge, half-wild Savannah cat who isn't easily won over. To earn some pocket money, Kat starts a pet-sitting agency, but her very first client, the owner of a chatty Amazon parrot, mysteriously vanishes from his gadget-filled clifftop mansion. Convinced something sinister is going on, Kat teams up with new friend Harper Lamb, an American girl laid up with two broken legs after a mishap with her racehorse. What begins as a fun summer mystery quickly spirals into real danger, testing the girls' wits, courage, and their unruly menagerie of animal helpers. Packed with clever clues, warm friendships, and thrilling twists, this is the perfect pick for young mystery-lovers who enjoy animals and adventure in equal measure.
