Description:

A big, grumpy giant sets off on a mission to find a boy named Jack so he can gobble him up for his supper. Along the way, he meets several children who are each facing a tricky problem of their own, and without quite meaning to, the giant ends up helping every single one of them. The children, charmed by his unexpected kindness, decide he must be a lovely, gentle giant after all, not realizing what he originally had in mind! Full of clever rhymes and playful humour, this funny picture book turns a classic fairy tale on its head.
