Lost and split up in a huge desert, they each stumble into a green, mysterious valley full of amazing and scary creatures. There Fone Bone makes friends with a brave girl named Thorn and her tough grandmother, dodges two dim-witted rat creatures, and is even helped by a laid-back dragon.
